Yes. Alpenglow Tree Care LLC carries full general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We provide proof of insurance on request for any job.

Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM. Closed Sunday. For emergency storm damage, call us anytime — we respond to hazard calls outside normal hours.
Yes. We respond to emergency storm damage calls across Denver and the Front Range. Trees on structures, blocked driveways, and hanging limbs get priority. Call (303) 801-7513.
Tree Removal
Small trees (under 25 feet): $300–$800. Medium trees (25–50 feet): $800–$2,000. Large or hazardous trees: $2,000–$5,000+. Price depends on size, location, access, and proximity to structures. We provide exact pricing during a free on-site estimate. See our tree removal page for more detail.
Depends on your municipality. Denver, Boulder, and some HOA communities require permits for certain removals, especially large or protected species. We help you determine what's needed before work begins.
Most residential removals take 2–6 hours. Large or hazardous trees near structures can take a full day. We give you a time estimate during the assessment.
Yes. We use rigging and sectional removal to take trees apart in controlled pieces near structures, fences, and power lines. This is what separates professional removal from someone with a chainsaw.
Tree Trimming & Pruning
Most trees need trimming every 3–5 years. Fast-growing cottonwoods and elms may need it every 2–3 years. Dead branches and safety hazards should be addressed whenever you notice them.
Late winter through early spring (February–April) while trees are dormant. Dead branches can be removed any time. Elms and oaks should only be pruned during dormancy to prevent disease transmission.
Stump Grinding
We grind 6–12 inches below the surrounding grade — deep enough to plant grass, lay sod, or landscape over. Deeper grinding is available for construction or hardscape. See our stump grinding page.
We backfill the hole with the grindings and level the surface. You can use them as mulch or we can haul them away — your call.
Yes, but wait a season. Wood grindings temporarily deplete nitrogen as they decompose. Excavate the grindings, backfill with fresh soil, and give it time before replanting.
Fire Mitigation
Defensible space is the managed zone around your property where vegetation is thinned or removed to reduce wildfire risk. Colorado recommends three zones extending up to 200 feet. See our fire mitigation page for zone details.
Yes — that's where we do most of our fire mitigation work. We serve Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Blackhawk/Central City, Nederland, Summit County, Eagle County, and Lake County.
Foothills and mountain communities with dense pine and steep terrain — Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Nederland, Blackhawk/Central City. Summit, Eagle, and Lake counties in the High Country also carry significant risk, especially with beetle-kill timber.
Storm Damage
Stay away from the tree, especially near power lines. Take photos for insurance. If it's on a structure, call your insurance company and then call us at (303) 801-7513. We'll clear the hazard and provide documentation for your claim. See our storm cleanup page.
Yes. We provide detailed photos, damage descriptions, and itemized invoices for claims processing. We can coordinate with your adjuster directly. Don't wait for insurance before calling — clear the hazard first, then file the claim.
